RTG1856 Garmin GT56/MotorGuide Xi5 or Similar Round Nose Cone Motor

The RTG1856 is a fully guarded mount constructed 100% out of Stainless Steel and will take any punishment you can put it thru! This "Guarded" version works great for fishing in or around logs and rocks when you are worried about physically damaging the transducer from impacts. The transducer produces perfect images and there is no image distortion from the bracket guard.   

While this is a dedicated mount for the MotorGuide Xi5 I have had MANY customers run the mount on other trolling motors with a standard round nose cone and the skeg on the same end as the propeller!!!  The profile of the upper bracket may not follow exactly to the profile of the motor housing BUT it will work if the bracket physically can sit up against the housing. For those concerned about gaps with using the mount on a non Xi5 trolling motor...I have also had many customers use Black RTV Silicone to fill the gab between the motor housing and the bracket which looks great!   There is a dimension picture below so PLEASE measure your motor and compare dimensions and make sure you think it will work before ordering! Mount comes as shown in photo's below and comes with 2 Band Clamps/Rubber band protectors.  You must re-use your existing transducer mounting screws/washers.  Hardware kits are also available in the accessories page.
