Heavy Duty Transducer Mounting Boards

Our Heavy Duty Transducer Boards are made 1" thick black HDPE plastic and are Non-UV sensitive meaning they will never fade or crack from the sunlight.  These boards will allow the use of a 1" long mounting screw (available on our website also) which will make for a rock solid mounting! Also the boards have an added feature of the rear side of the board having a grooved inset perimeter...what this does is allows the installer to add a liberal amount of silicone or adhesive like 3M's 5200 to the center area and the silicone will fill the grove before pushing out the outer edge of the board making for a very clean install! The grove also creates a nice gasket for better water proofing!

Our Transducer Boards are made of solid 1" Thick UV Proof HDPE Plastic. All Transducer boards come with Stainless Steel mounting screws.

RyTek Marine recommends the use of 100% Silicone for all sealing surfaces when used with Fiberglass or Aluminum with our HDPE Transducer Boards and Flush Mounts.

Clean all surfaces with acetone before installation. Pre-drill holes with a "twist" drill bit slightly smaller than the screw thread diameter. (Please wear safety glasses). Test fit screw prior to installing mount by hand tightening with a screw driver. If the fit is to tight, back out and bore out the hole slightly and test fit again. Fill all thru holes with silicone prior to installing
screws. Hand tighten screws only and do not use a drill or impact driver....Stainless steel screws are brittle
