Introducing our Heavy Duty Garmin Panoptix PS31 transom mounts! The RTG1500 series is now available in two variations and is constructed from heavy gauge Stainless Steel and incorporates our unique thru pinch tube like our other transducer mounts! The design of the transducer mount allows users quickly to adjust the angle of the transducer without the need for loosening hardware or using tools!   Torque to thru bolt exactly where you want it allowing for easy angle changes but tight enough that it doesn't move when under power!!!!

The RTG1500 was our original design in 2020 and allows for the transducer mount to be installed quickly and easily on boats that are already running a PS30/31 transducer. The bracket can be installed on the boat without having to pull the transducer cable from the boat (difficult and time consuming).  The "Standard" RTG1500 does not have a built in deflection shield which can cause minor spray issues if the transducer is mounted below the bottom of the boat.   Most purchasers of the RTG1500 have no intention of running the transducer deeper than the bottom in fear of breaking the transducer if hitting even the smallest piece of debris on the water while at speed!  Most using the RTG1500 will mount the transducer above the bottom of the boat approx 1/2" to 1" which keeps the transducer out of the water at speed but also does not overly effect the forward viewing of the transducer if kept slightly above the bottom of the hull.

The new RTG1501 has a built in spray shield which will deflect most spray coming off the face of the transducer if you are running it deeper than the bottom of the hull (it is not recommended to run the mount so deep that the entire transducer is below the hull line! 1/2" or a bit more is perfect and there is not issues pushing the rear of the transducer down a bit further, thus allowing you to see even further ahead!).    Due to the design of the RTG1501, it does require the installer to pull the cable from the boat if the transducer has already been installed!

Below is a video on our YouTube page that better explains the differences of the two mounts!
